Waxed Canvas Tarp
$128.00 USD
Built for a camp that stays put. At sixteen hundred grams it is not riding up a mountain, and it is not meant to. Waxed cotton shrugs off embers where nylon would open a hole, which is the whole case for cotton around a fire.
- Embers bounce off cotton; they burn through nylon
- Brass grommets set into reinforced corners
- Can be reproofed — a twenty year piece of kit

Materials
12oz waxed cotton canvas with double-folded, stitched edges. Solid brass spur grommets sit at each corner and every metre down both sides, and each corner carries a second layer of canvas beneath the grommet.
Care
Let it dry completely before you fold it. Cotton put away damp mildews, and mildew is permanent. When water stops beading, work in canvas wax — about every other season, sooner with heavy use.
